MRX Comp Shifter

The GripShift design took me back to my first mountain bike, and honestly, it still works great — shifting through the 9 cogs is crisp and I don't have to think about it. Hard to beat for the price when my old Shimano derailleur pairs with it perfectly.

Swapped these onto my old 8-speed hardtail and the indexing lined up with my Shimano derailleur right out of the box. The twist grip shifts cleanly even with muddy gloves on.

The GripShift twist action took me a couple rides to get used to, but now shifts feel quick and natural. Paired it with my old 8-speed setup and the indexing lined up right out of the box. Solid value for the price.
