The Shimano STEPS DU-E8000 Drive Unit is a compact drive unit designed for MTB riding styles. Lighter than the E6002 drive unit, the E8000 has a short rear center in order to increase clearance for suspension and large tires.

• Offers a direct pedaling feel both on and off power assist mode
